What did I just see?

So I was hanging out with Tony earlier, asking him about the dream he had. He says he doesn't remember making that post. As soon as I left his house I called up Tsu. According to him, the "Fears" can cause people to have nightmares. Just fucking great. After hanging up, I started heading home. Guess who I fucking saw.

Slender Man. Just hiding there in the trees. I decided to approach him. Not the smartest move, but I wanted some god damn answers.

"Why are you stalking me?" I demanded.
He just stood there silently.
"Okay," I said. "Guess you're not gonna answer that question. What about my friend's dream? Do you know something about that?"
This time, he moved his head up and down, as if nodding.
"Well, can you explain what you know?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"Well, why not!?" I shouted. "I want some god damn answers!"
He didn't respond.
"What about that thing I said to you?" I asked. "The thing about the Vision and the Demi-God?"

Then he did something I wasn't really expecting. A tentacle sprouted out of his back and extended towards me. I couldn't move. I was transfixed by it. It touched my forehead.

Suddenly, I was somewhere else. I was watching two odd looking people were staring each other down. One of them was a skeleton wearing a black hooded cloak. It's face was concealed by a white mask with the four poker suit symbols displayed on it. Standing across from him was a really hot woman. Well, most of her was hot. The hands threw me off. Each finger ended in what looked like a chitinous red talon. When I looked into her eyes, I noticed that she didn't have irises and her pupils were huge.

"You will pay for hat you've down," The skeleton said.
"I don't see any problem with my actions," She replied.
"You have broken the game's rules!" It shouted.
"Where in the rules does forbid what I did, Game Master?" She asked.
"Enough of this!" It bellowed.

It's cloak then split into several bats, which then fused together in a weird way and transformed into a giant sword. He charged at her, and she blocked his blade with her talons. They started fighting viciously, but I didn't get to see the outcome.

I came to a little while later. I was in a familiar place. It was a sewer opening that had become a pond. It was fenced in and I found myself lying in the dirt on the pond's edge. There were some holes under the fence, so I managed to get out. Then I came straight home and started typing this.

What ever that was that Slender Man showed me has to mean something. I don't know whar though. Why can't I ever get a straight answer for once.

OHMYGODNIGHTMARE!!

Okay, I'll try to start from the beginning. This is Tony Helioson, and I just had a crazy ass dream.

Now, how did it start? Oh yeah!

I saw Dan and Justin. And they were fighting. Like, hardcore fuckin' fighting. They were seriously trying to kill each other.

Justin was wearing  all black, and he had this wicked-looking scythe, and Dan was wielding a flaming sword. Some kind of samurai sword. I don't know why it was flaming, but it was fucking flaming.

Then they both went through some kind of transformation. Justin changed. He turned into some kind of huge, muscular, four-armed man with a dozen wings and a gas mask covering his face. Two of his hands held giant swords, and the other two were carrying an even more wicked looking scythe.

Daniel looked different too. His skin became pale as fuck. He looked like a fucking ghost. And he had dark circles under his eyes. And his hair was longer (than usual) and was turning grey in some parts. He was wearing this blue hooded jacket instead of his usual vest, and he had one of those musketeer swords. What are they called? Rapiers? I don't know.

They kept fight. It was really fucking intense.

Then I was somewhere else. I couldn't see either of them anymore. I was in some kind of forest, only the leaves were all black, and blood dripped from the trees. I ran down a path. I just kept running. I had no idea where I was or where I was going.

Then I stopped. Some one was blocking my path. He toward over me. This tall, thin man in a business suit. I had to lean back to see his face.

He had no face. I fell backward and scouted away from it. I knew what it was. It was just like what Dan had described seeing. The Slender Man.

It spread it's arms apart, as if asking for a hug. I don't know what came over me. I was in a trance. I stood up and took a step toward it. It nodded. I took a couple more steps. I could feel its power, drawing me closer. I took one more step. I was still a few feet away, when someone else grabbed me by the arm and held me back. I turned to look at him. It was Dan. The pale one. He was glaring angrily into Slender Man's faceless face.

Then I woke up. I was scare as hell, so I decided to type it all out to relieve the stress.

Ugh!! I've been listening to Tsu and Dan's eldritch bullshit too much. It's starting to fuck with my dreams.

The sword

I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday, but I was busy having a staring contest with Slender Man, who has decided to watch my house from a distance. Asshole. Anyway, Tsu brought me to meet Martyr Beta the other day. Really big guy, carrying around a rather large golf club case. He was accompanied by a 12-year-old kid named Drake Thorne.

"Tsu says you can help," I said. "Can I trust you?"
"Who you trust is your own choice," He said.
"I heard you were tough," I said. "Can you prove it?"

Wasn't really expecting what happened next. He pulled a huge sword sword out of the golf club case and strapped it to his back. He then offered me a gun and asked me to shoot at me.

"What!? I'm not gonna shoot a gun at you!" I said.
"Fine," He replied, handing it to Tsu. "You do it."

Tsu took the gun and fired five shots at him. I didn't even see him draw his sword. In seemingly no time at all, he had sliced all five of the bullets in half in midair.

So yeah, I guess he is a badass. Tsu's gonna be staying with him now.

Another weird thing. When I got home that day, I saw a really really old guy walking away from my front porch. I found a package waiting for me by the door. I brought it inside and got out my box cutter. It contained a sword. A wakizashi to be specific. I examined it. The sheath seemed to have been sliced in two and gorilla glued back together. I drew it from the sheath. They blade was warm. Very warm. Almost burnt myself when I touched it. At first I thought it was just a prank the old guy was pulling by heating the sword up before giving it to me. However, it is now the following day and it still hasn't cooled off. This isn't normal warmth.

I haven't told anyone else else about the sword yet. That weird old guy gave it to me. There must be a reason. Maybe he knows about what's happening to me and is giving it to me to protect myself. Or maybe there's another reason. I don't know. I'm gonna sign off now, I think I see Slender Man again.

We made a video

Tony and I made a video recap of everything that's happened so far. I actually kind of  liked it. Helped me get a lot of my chest. Maybe I'll do some more videos later. Anyway, here it is;

By the way, I haven't met Martyr Beta yet, but Tsu says he'll introduce us tomorrow.

Wait, What?

So the meeting with the Timberwolf went well. And by "well" I mean "bizarre and frightening". Simply put, he wasn't too pleased to see us. Said I should've just let him die.

"Don't give me that crap," I told him. "Why can't you just be grateful that I saved you."
"Don't bother with him," Tsu said. "The Timberwolves belief that they can be at one with their god once they fie. That's why they accept death so willingly."
"They sound like more of a cult than a gang," I replied.
"They're kind of both," Tsu replied.
"Watch what you say!" the Timberwolf demanded.
"What ever," I said. "You obviously don't want us here, so we'll leave."
"You go on," Tsu said. "I've still got questions for him."
On my way out, the Timberwolf said something else to me. He said "You must embrace the Archangel. It is the only salvation you can hope for."
I didn't understand what he meant by that, and at the moment, I didn't care.

When I got outside, I saw an old friend. His name was Justin Ferin. He was one of my best friends. One day, he joined a gang. I tried to stop him. It was the first fight we had ever had. We both walked away as enemies. Three weeks later, he appeared on the news. He had been murdered by an unknown serial killer. He had been smiling when they found his body. This was two years ago.

So needless to say, I was shocked to see him standing in front of me with a cocky, and somewhat malicious, smirk on his face.

"Hello, Daniel," he said to me. "Long time no see, my friend."
"This is impossible," I said. "You died years ago."
"You fool," He chuckled. "I have been immortalized within the Archangel."
"You're a Timberwolf, aren't you?" I asked.
"Oh, I am so much more then that," He said. Suddenly, we were surrounded by a blanket of black for. It swirled around us, and it condensed into his hand and became a gas mask. I didn't notice at first, but I now realized that his clothing was the same as the gas-masked figure I had seen before.
"You're the Archangel," I said.
"Bravo, you win the prize," He said, putting the mask on on. "How does it feel to know that your old buddy is the deity revered by one of the world's largest cults?"
I was gonna answer, but then Tsu grabbed my arm from behind and said "We're leaving!"
"What?" I asked. "What's going on? Tell me what's happening!"
"Later!" He said, dragging me away from Justin. "For now, we need to run. I'll answer all your questions later."

And so we ran back toward my place. I wish I could say the crazy shit ended there, but it didn't. We were almost to home when we almost collided with some one. No, not some one. Some thing. It was the tall person I had seen before. He stood above me, wearing this black suit and tie, looking straight down at me. Except, he didn't have eyes. Pr a nose. Or a mouth. He had no fucking face. I stepped back, frightened by what I was seeing. It stretched out it's long-ass arms, as if inviting me to come closer.
"Who are you!?" I demanded.
It cocked it's head to the side.
"We need to go," Tsu said, grabbing me by the arm and pulling me down a different route. I couldn't stop myself from looking back at that thing. I pulled out of Tsu's grasp and turned back to the faceless being.
"Vision still exists, within the Demi-God!" I called out to him. I don't know where those words came from or what they meant. The faceless thing nodded at me and then it was gone. Almost as if it was never there to begin with.

As soon as I got home, I grabbed Tsu by his shirt collar and told him to tell what just happened.
"It complicated," He said.
"Yeah, I can tell!" I shouted. "What was that thing just now?"
"Slender Man," He replied.
"What?" I asked.
"He's a fiend," He explained. "An evil god who torments humanity."
"And what about Justin?" I asked. "Why is he still alive?"
"That wasn't Justin," He said.
"But it looked just like him," I said.
"The Archangel can appear in the form of any dead person," He explained. "He appeared as that man because he was someone you used to know."
"That makes less sense than the Slender Man thing!" I said.
"Let's just take it easy for now," He said. "I'll call the Archive, see if they can provide some protection. Slender Man didn't seem very hostile towards us, so that means it's just the Archangel we have to worry about. If only I understood their motives."
"So what should we do?" I asked him.
"Most people become runners," He told me. "They try to flee from these monsters."
"I'm not running," I said. "I'm the kind of guy who faces his fears. I'll be ready the next time the Archangel or Slender Man show up."
"You've got some guts," Tsu told me. "Just make sure no one removes them from your body."
"I have one more question for you," I said. "What were those words I said to Slender Man? I don't know why I said that or what it meant."
"I'm just as confused as you are," He confessed. "I'll look into it, but I can't make any promises."

So yeah, crazy shit, right?

I'm going to bed. I've been through a lot today.

Malkator

I woke up this morning to find Tsu staring at something on my desk. Upon closer inspection, I realized that he was reading the letter that I had received from that Benjamin Malkator guy.

"This is troubling," He said.
"What is?" I asked.
"Do you know who Malkator is?" He asked me.
"No, I don't," I said. "Do you?"
"It's a long story," He told me.
"I've got time," I replied.
"Very well," He began. "When I first joined the Archive, I was given the title 'Collector Omega'. There was some one else who held the title of 'Tsu'. He was close to another Collector who was known as 'Collector Xi'. She was his mentor. Despite that, he had trouble fulfilling the duties that he was given. This caused him to believe that he was always destined to fail at everything. One day, he decided that he wasn't qualified to be a Collector, so he became a Martyr instead."
"What's a Martyr?" I asked.
"They serve as our security guard," He said. "They eliminate external threats to the Archive and take care of traitors."
"I see."
"That was a year and a half ago," He said. "I haven't seen him since then, but from what I've heard, he moved up in rank pretty quickly, eventually gaining the title of 'Martyr Epsilon'. Then, one day he... he..."
"He what?" I asked. He seemed nervous about the next part.
"He betrayed us," He said.
"Why?"
"In order to join the Archive, you have to give something up," He explained. "One day, he decided that he wanted that 'something' back. There was a fight. He killed several of our Martyrs, and in the end he fought against his mentor within the Martyr's, the infamous Martyr Delta. They both survived the battle, and He escaped. Martyr Delta was promoted to Beta shortly afterwards, and was given the personal task of exterminating him. And then his old mentor within the Collectors, who had by this point been promoted to Epsilon, was stricken with grief and abandoned us as well."
"This guy, he's Malkator, isn't he?" I asked.
"Yes," He confirmed. "He is by far one of our most powerful adversaries. And what's more, he's taken an interest in you. You need to watch your back from now on."
"I've handled crazy people before," I told him. "This guy seems like nothing more than an insane bastard who thinks that eldritch abominations are real."
"Yeah," He replied. "Insane. Right."

Well, I have to hurry up and post this. Tsu and I are gonna go check on that Timberwolf in the hospital.

Saw The Gas Mask Guy Again

Now, where should I begin? I guess it started when Tsu asked me about local gang activity.

"Why are you interested?" I asked.
"That guy in the Gas Mask you mentioned might be the Archangel," He informed me.
"The Archangel?" I questioned him.
"It's a long story, but he's the leader of a gang called the Timberwolves," He said. "They have branches all over the country. I can't really prove whether or not the gas masked guy you saw is the Archangel, but if the Timberwolves are active in the the area, then it's highly possible it's the same guy."
"i don't know much about gangs," I admitted. "I know this stoner who might know more, but it's a long shot."
"Can you take me to meet him?" He asked.
"Sure," I said. "Just don't go ratting him out for anything."

So we went to visit Kyle and ask if he had heard of the Timberwolves. He didn't know anything, but he did mention seeing some thugs on his way home from the medical clinic. He told us where they were. So we went and picked up Tony before heading over there.

They were at this old store that was shut down a while ago. It was scheduled for demolition later this week, but... well, I'll get to that. There was a bunch of thugs going in and out of the building. They were all wearing this symbol that looked like a pair of hourglasses.

"This confirms it," Tsu said. "It's definitely the Timberwolves. Which means that the guy you saw was the Archangel."
"Do you have a plan?" I asked.
"Course I do," He said, removing his jacket to reveal that he was wearing the same hourglass pattern on his T-shirt. "I put this on this morning so I could blend in."
"You're not actually planning to go in there, are you?" I asked.
"I'll be fine as long as I don't give away that I'm a collector," He assured me.

Tony and I waited outside for about ten minutes. Then something caught my eye.

He was standing right across the street. It was that same guy that I saw last night on my way home. He was just standing there, in his grey clothes, staring at the store. He made eye contact with me briefly, then turned and started walking away. His face was abnormally symmetrical. I don't know why it bothered me so much, but it did.

Then there was an explosion behind me. I turned and saw that the store was on fire. I rushed in without thinking. Lot's of corpses. Almost threw up. I stop at the first living guy I saw and tried to help him. I didn't care if he was a thug or not, he was still a human being. He tried resisting me, saying something along the lines of "Just let me embrace him!", so I knocked him out and lifted him over my shoulder. He was heavy. I found Tsu a little while later. His leg was pinned by a fallen shelf. I help free him.

"Can you still walk?" I asked.
"Yeah," He said. "Why are you saving that guy?"
"Why shouldn't I?" I asked, but he was no longer paying attention. He was looking at something behind me.
I turned to see a tall bald guy wearing black with his back to me. I think it was the same man I saw that day when we saved that kid. Standing a little further away and looking at him was the gas mask guy. The Archangel. They were just standing there staring at each other.

"Oh, shit," Tsu said. "We have to get out of here." He helped me support the unconscious guy and we headed out the back.

We got the Timberwolf to a hospital. I asked Tsu who the tall man was. All he said was "The less you know about him, the better."

He went off to do some research in a different part of town. I burnt my arm in the fire, so I'm at home rubbing toothpaste on the wound. I'll update more when Tsu gets home.

Crazy Night

And by "crazy" I mean "weird on every possible level".

It started with the "party". I put quotes around it because there were only 6 people there. There was me, Tony, Kyle, Melissa, That Guy Paris, and Lea.

Kyle is my stoner friend. He has one of those fancy medical cards that makes it so that he can legally smoke weed.

Paris is the newest guy in the group. I'm really the only guy who knows him very well. As a joke, we all refer to him as "That Guy, Paris".

Melissa's this girl that likes cats. Tony and I helped her find her lost kitten one day, and we kinda started hanging out after that.

Lea's a friend of Melissa. I don't know her all that well.

It was an okay party. We got shit-faced, played some X-Box, That Guy Paris passed out at some point, and we all had ice cream.

After a while, I decided I should start heading home. I said goodbye to everyone, packed up a couple beers for when I got home, and hopped on my bike. I don't own a car. To pricey. I've more-or-less mastered the art of pretending I'm sober in public, plus it was dark and there went many people out and about. So, I sort of assumed I wouldn't run into any problems.

Oh, how wrong I was. I rode my bike passed this weird guy wearing a grey suit with a gray fedora. The outfit might have looked good if it was in black. Not long after I saw the guy, I was almost killed by a trucker who's brakes blew out. Some guy leapt at me and pushed me out of the way. My bike got destroyed, but I made it out okay. I'm not sure where the truck went.

"Are you all right?" The guy who saved me asked.
"Well, The near death experience managed to sober me up, but other than that I'm fine," I said. "Thanks."
"What's your name?" He asked me.
"I'm Dan," I said. "Dan Ferris."
"I'm Collector Tsu," He said.
"Weird name," I replied.
"It's really just a nickname," He told me.
"Is there any way I can repay you for this?" I asked.
"I could use a place to stay for a little while," He said. "The hotel I'm staying at is annoyingly expensive."
"Parents kicked you out?" I asked.
"I'm in town on business, actually," He said.
"What kind of business?"
"I work for a paranormal investigation agency," He informed me. "I'm here doing research. Speaking of which, have you seen anything unusual lately?"
"Define unusually," I told him.
"Oh you know," he began, "Tall dark figures, birds acting strangely, people becoming obsessed with water, weird guys wearing gas masks."
"That last one sound familiar," I replied.
"Interesting," He said. "This certainly warrant investigation."

So, I now have this Tsu guy staying with me. My roommate's cool with him staying over for a few nights as long as he doesn't make a lot of noise and doesn't steal anything. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go get drunk again.

Party

This girl I know named Melissa Armand is holding a party tonight while her parents are out of time. And, as the only 21-year-old in my circle of friends, the responsibility of purchasing booze falls on me. So that's what I'll be doing tonight; buying alcohol for minors.

In other news, I bumped into this weird guy today. He was about my age (I think), and he was wearing a heavy coat and had on a gas mask. I passed by him on the street, and he stopped dead in his tracks and started laughing. I turned to see that he was looking straight at me. I asked him what was up, but he didn't answer me. He turned and walked away, still laughing. I decided not to bother with him and kept going my own way.

But who the hell wears a heavy overcoat during the springtime in Southern California? And what was with the mask? Was he some kind of Hazmat researcher or something? Weird dude...

Update

Not a lot's been going on since that incident with the kid. Mostly just chilling with the guys. I did receive a letter in the mail the other day. It was... pretty odd.

Dear Daniel,

You are in danger. This will sound insane, which I suppose it kind of is, but I have reason to believe that one or more eldritch abominations may have taken interest in you. I'm willing to offer my assistance. I'm currently dealing with some matters in Oregon, but as soon as I'm finished, I can come find you and lend you a hand.
You can trust me, I've dealt with these matters several times. I assure you that I will be of use. Please believe me when I say that you will soon appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Benjamin  Malkator

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't "sincerely" mean "I am being honest with you"? Seriously, this is the worst practical joke I've ever heard before. Really? Eldritch abominations? Is that the best you can do? This guy is clearly off his rocker.

The thing that worries me is that this creep has my address. He knows where I live. Whatever. If he wants to come over, I'll be ready for him. Bring it, Benjamin Malkator.

The kid's safe

So, we went by that house earlier. We looked through the windows as we were walking past, and, unfortunately, the guy saw us. Stormed out of the house and asked why we were there. I told him we were just admiring his nice house. He didn't buy it. He grabbed me by the shirt and hissed "You're here for the kid, aren't you?". That was exactly what I needed. I pulled the mini-tape recorder out of my pocket and played that last bit back for him. His expression of shock immediately turned to rage when Dan hook kicked him in the face. He started chasing Dan down the street. I'm actually a little surprised he wasn't already unconscious.
While Dan was leading him away, I went called up the cops. They got there and found the kid. They also found the man's corpse a few blocks away.
Now, I no what you're thinking, but Dan wasn't the one who killed him.
Anyway, Dan wants to say something, so I'll let him have the computer for now. Tony, out.
____________________________________________________________________________

Hey guys, it's Daniel. I want to talk about that guy I fought. He was on some kind of crazy steroid or something. He caught up to me a few blocks away from the house, and we had a pretty intense fight. He dented a few cars pretty badly, and he wasn't really phased by any of my attacks. Whatever he was on seemed to be the end of him. Some way into our fight, he started clutching his chest. He then said something like "The master said I would last longer." then he coughed up a bunch of blood and collapsed. The police informed me that his heart had exploded. I told them about his dying words, and they said they'd look into it.

Another thing I feel I should mention; There was someone else in that house. I noticed him when we were glancing through the windows. I don't know if Tony noticed him. Some tall bald wearing black. His back was turned to me so I couldn't see his face. The police said they didn't find anyone else in the house, but I think it might have been the "master" that guy was talking about.

Got a lead.

Daniel-

I heard from somebody I met earlier that there was a suspicious character hanging out in an abandoned house a few blocks from where I live. Tony and I are gonna go by there sometime tomorrow to see if we can find the guy. I don't know for sure, but this guy might be connected to the missing kid.

Wish us luck.

Been busy.

Hey, guys. This is Tony Helioson. I would have done a post earlier, but I've been busy with my most recent case.

I make a small living finding things for people. Dan says I have a knack for it, and he keeps telling me I should join the police academy, but I'd rather not. I don't like the cops.

Anyway, I usually find lost toys or pets. Not this time. This time, I'm looking for a runaway kid. Went missing a few days ago. The police are already looking for him, but I figured I'd try and find him first. Dan's helping me out. It's good to have a fighter like him on my side in case something goes down. I've seen him fight before, and he's pretty good.

Anyway, wish us luck.

-Tony, signing off.

Sup, Dawg?

My name is Daniel Ferris. This is a joint account I'm starting with my friend Tony. I have some other friends who might be getting in on this, but for now it's just the two of us.

About me. I'm a pretty mellow guy. I've trained in martial arts, so I can kick most peoples asses, but I'm a pretty passive person. I rarely resort to violence. I like video games (mainly Nintendo). I also collect Magic the Gathering cards. Feel free to make fun of me for that.

I'm new to blogosphere, so I'm not sure what to expect from all this. Well, since I'm legal, I think I'll go buy a 40 of King Cobra and watch YouTube videos for the rest of the night.

Later Peeps!
