I Can't Believe Any Of This

Me, Malkator, and Tony went to the building. There were birds everywhere, just watching us as we snuck in.

It was a trap. We were ganged up on by proxies. They tied us up and threw us into this room. Paris was there, bound up just like us. And that guy in the Pac-Man mask was standing over us.

"You took your sweet time finding us," he said. He then turned to another proxy who was leaning against a wall. "Do you know when Master's gonna get here?"
The other guy shrugged. "I'm guessing he'll show up once all the guests arrive," he said. This guy bared striking resemblance to the government guy we met during the Silvermist fiasco.
"Oh well," the Pac-Man guy said.
"So you're the Gamer?" Malkator asked, smiling.
"Why are you so smug?" he asked.
"Oh no reason," Malkator said.

Then, without warning, he broke out of his bindings. A pair of wings sprouted from his back and blades grew from his forearms. He kicked the masked guy in the chest so hard that he went flying. He then cut through the ropes binding the rest of us. A number of proxies charged at Malkator, and he began fighting them all. Then this other guy with a huge sword crashed through the ceiling and joined in.

Tony and I grabbed Paris and tried to run for it, but we didn't get very far before the proxy who resembled the government guy got in our way. I drew my sword and charged at him. He blocked my attack with his own weapon. As soon as our swords collided with each other, there was a clang louder than anything I had ever heard. I stepped back, clutching my head from the noise. He attacked with his sword, and I blocked. Another clang. I dropped to my knees. The sound was overwhelming. He raised his sword, ready to strike again, but I managed to get back up and grab his sword arm. Ice suddenly formed on his arm, and he panicked and dropped the sword. I picked it up and whacked him in the head with it. He was knocked out.

I stopped and examined the sword some. It was completely blunt, and seemed to be designed to amplify sound when struck against something. I turned to check on the others. I didn't like what I saw.

While I had been distracted by that fight, the Entity had appeared. Tony was unconscious on the ground and the Entity had its tentacles around Paris. I tried to jump in and help him, but I was thrown aside by a tentacle. The Entity released Paris. He had changed. There was a dead look in his eyes. He wasn't human anymore. He had become a Hallowed.

Then the guy with the huge sword charged in and tried to cleave the Entity in two. Another fight started to break out, and suddenly there was a hand on my shoulder and voice said "Things are about to get ugly." next thing I know, I'm lying on my back a few blocks away. Every muscle in my body was aching horribly.

I stood up and tried to make my way back to the building. Unfortunately, the Smiling Man had other plans. He appeared, and sent a cloud of flower petals after me. I ran, but not fast enough. The flower petals grazed my legs and cut the flesh. I fell to the ground. He sent more petals after me, but this time another guy got in the way. The wind suddenly changed  and the petals dispersed. Then all the birds attacked the Smiling Man, and he ran away. The guy helped my up. He said he was O'Zalia, the guy who's been talking to me telepathically.

I made it back to the hotel. Tony and Malkator are okay, but Paris...

FUCK!!!!!

The Last Scion

He was waiting for us inside the building. He had been waiting. He looked a few years older then me. He wore dark robes, and his eyes were the same as the Vision's.

He offered us the knowledge we needed; the location of the Proxy hideout. He said that we need to go in prepared. He tried looking at destiny, but couldn't see what's supposed to happen. He says that it means Fears will be heavily involved, and we need to keep our guards up.

He spoke to Malkator alone for a while. I couldn't here anything, but Malkator was pretty pissed about something when we left.

We're going to the hideout tomorrow night. We're going to save Paris, one way or another.

Field Trip

I hope that link works. I've been having a few problems with my computer lately.

Anyway, we're in LA right now, and we're gonna be looking for that building. Here goes nothing.

Injured

Malkator's been wounded. I don't don't know who did it to him, but he's pretty beaten up. He appeared in the middle of Tony's garage and passed out immediately afterwards. He's still unconscious, but I'm hoping he'll be better soon

Also, my dreams have all been the same lately. I'm riding that flying ship, running from the Reverie and his legion of Grotesque monsters. When he's not chasing me, I get some time to talk with Justin. He's still been looking for something in the depths of the ship. I went bellow deck once, and it's like a completely different world down there.

Any way, I need to sign off now.

Reverie

So my dream sucked last night.

I was in the middle of a circus tent, with a huge crowd of people booing at me. But they weren't people. There were phantoms and gross monsters. Disembodied faces sneering at and living fire balls cackling madly. And in the middle of it all, standing right in front of me on a raised platform, was the circus's ringleader.

He was wearing a black suit, which was left unbuttoned to reveal a gray and red striped v-neck shirt. He had on a top hat over fiery orange hair and held a cane in his left hand. His face was all wrong. The outer corners of his eyelids were black, his mouth was over-sized with pointed teeth, and his nose was long and pointy.

"Welcome!" he called to the audience of demons and ghosts. "The main event of the evening will now commence! The moment you have all been waiting for! The ultimate battle to show us just what Daniel here can do! He's conquer many trials, but now we have an adversary that can truly give him a challenge! I present the Indisen scythe-wielder; Justin Ferin!"

Justin stood across from me, with a dead look in his eyes, holding the Archangel's scythe in his hands.

"What's going on!" I demanded. Suddenly, the Ringleader was behind me, leaning down to whisper in my ear.
"Isn't he just the perfect opponent?" he said. "His soul has been torn away from the Archangel, and yet he still possesses its power! This fight will truly be something to behold! Now, BEGIN!"

A halberd appeared before me, and Justin charged. I grabbed the halberd and defended myself. Justin was under some sort of mind control. I couldn't get through to him. So I went with the only thing I could think of. It wasn't easy, but I managed to knock him out. I then lifted him over my shoulders and ran from the tent.

Unfortunately, I only got a few feet outside before I found myself the the edge of a cliff. The world was twisted, with crazy color shifting skies. I turned around and saw the swarm of monsters blocking my path the other way. The only way to go was down.

I jumped off the cliff. I guess it was kind of stupid, but it was my subconscious, so I figured I might have some control over things. And I was right. The ship appeared, but this time it wasn't in the Ocean; it was flying through the sky. I landed on it, and it took off at high speed. The demons tried chasing it, but the ship was fast enough to outrun them. For a little while, anyway.

The Ringleader appeared, bigger than a mountain, and blocking the ship's path. This guy was starting to piss me off.

"Who are you!??" I demanded angrily. "What the fuck do you want from me!?"
"I am the Reverie, the core of the Grotesque and the creator of all nightmares," he bellowed.  "My reasons for being here are for me to know, and you to guess at."

I grabbed the halberd. It started glowing brightly, and I threw it at the bastard's eye. I guess he wasn't expecting it. He clutched his face and screamed loudly while I escaped with Justin on the ship.

Justin eventually came to. I asked him what the hell an Indisen is, but he didn't know. He said that he had tried to fight off the Grotesque on his own, but lost and was turned into a puppet. I hope that fucking Reverie bastard leaves me alone for a while, but he seems pretty persistent.

Backstory

First off, I'm drunk, so I apologize in advance for any typos. So, we have to put the field trip on hold for just a bit. You see, Malkator has been visiting me, and we had arranged to visit LA together. He told me that his rival and former enemy O'Zalia had informed him that they hadn't turned Paris into a hallowed yet, so we still have time. And apparently O'Zalia has asked Malkator to do him a favor real quick, so we're gonna let him get that taken care of before we head out to the building.

In the meantime, I guess I'll tell you all a bit about my past.

My dad was in the Navy during my childhood. So, because of his military job, we had to move a lot. And, when he was away doing Navy stuff, my mom sort of cheated on him. When I was six(ish), my mom's boyfriend at the time mistakenly locked my younger sister outside while she was giving milk to some stray cats (by the way, I have 2 sisters, one younger by 3 years and one older by 1 year, and also, in his defense, he didn't know she was outside). Any way, the police found her outside, and a bunch of stuff happened, we were taken into police custody, my parents got a divorce, my dad regained custody of us, we stayed with his parents (our grandparents) until he completed his military service, and then he got remarried to a woman who had a daughter and two sons who were older than all of us kids. We moved here to California, where we stayed for the pasted 12(ish) years. And, as I was used to moving around by that time time, staying in one place got a little weird for me. I eventually got so used to it that change started to bother me. That's why it was so weird when I had to move out. Any way, let's delve into my past again.

When I was in the first grade (I was still living with my grand parents at the time), I wasn't doing so great in school. My grand parents thought it was because I was stressed out from the divorce, so they arranged for the school to hold me back a year (this was 1st grade, by the way). I was also given a tutor. She was a couple years older than me, and she was a nice girl. One day, I saw a woman walking away with her. I called her name several times (I can't remember her name now, but I new it back then). I had called it several times before she actually looked back at me. It was as if she didn't recognize me. It was as if she had completely forgotten about me. I never saw her again. I don't know why I decided to share that with you all.

Anyway, into the future a bit. 6th grade. I was friends with a guy named Kevin Radey. He was more-or-less enemies with Tony Helioson. so I jumped on the bandwagon and hated Tony as well. However, in the ninth grade, Tony came up to me and told me he wanted to be my friend. I thought about it a bit, and realized that I was only enemies with him because of peer pressure (Tony wasn't exactly popular). So, I decided to give him a chance. Turns out, we had a lot in common. We both like yugioh, magic the gathering, sonic the hedgehog, and a bunch of other stuff . I sort of lost contac t with Kevin after a few years. I think I'll look him up on facebook or something once I'm sober, to see if he's still in the area and wants to meet up some time.

Anyway, I think that covers most of my past. If you guys have any other questions about that, leave a comment or email me at DanXferriS@gmail.com, and I'll update for you. In the mean time, I'm gonna wait for Malkator to come back so we can go on that trip. Later.
